Access Bank’s Branch of the Future is a groundbreaking prototype designed to deliver humanless banking experiences, prioritising virtual customer service and digital interaction. The 960sqm building embodies a tech-forward, customer-centric approach, blending automation with intuitive design. When operational, the banks customers would be undertaking banking activities from the building without interacting with the bank’s employees.

Sustainability is central — with energy-efficient systems, water conservation, and intelligent façade and glazing solutions that optimise daylight and reduce heat gain. This is the first of its kind, with two pilot branches in Lagos and one in Abuja. Construction began in July 2024 and is slated for completion by September 2026.
