Description

The Africa Data Centres (ADC) facility at Eko Atlantic City is a world-class Tier III carrier-neutral data centre developed to support the growing demand for secure, reliable, and scalable digital infrastructure across West Africa. Strategically located within Eko Atlantic City, Lagos, the facility forms part of ADC’s pan-African network of interconnected data centres, providing critical infrastructure for cloud services, enterprise computing, telecommunications, and digital transformation initiatives.

The development was conceived as a phased hyperscale facility, incorporating modular data halls, office accommodation, security facilities, equipment rooms, and supporting infrastructure designed to international data centre standards. The initial phase included modular data halls with supporting operational spaces, lower-ground parking and service areas, reception facilities, meeting rooms, security control points, and dedicated plant areas housing power generation and cooling equipment.

Designed to deliver exceptional levels of resilience and operational reliability, the facility benefits from Eko Atlantic City’s advanced infrastructure, including dedicated power generation, fibre-optic connectivity, underground utility networks, and a secure master-planned environment. The completed development provides high-availability colocation services, secure data storage, cloud connectivity, and business continuity solutions for local and international clients.

The project represents a significant milestone in Nigeria’s digital infrastructure landscape, strengthening Lagos’ position as a leading technology and connectivity hub within Africa while supporting the region’s increasing demand for data processing, cloud computing, and digital services.
